Partner Quarterly Report

July - September 2008

4^th Quarter

To:       Project JUNTOS Collaborative Partners

Program Accomplishments:

During this time period project JUNTOS enrolled a total of 86 new participants towards our grant goal of 100 participants.  To this date Project JUNTOS has enrolled a total of 110 participants exceeding our project performance goal by 10 participants.

Special Events and Quarter Participant Activities and Classes:

July 2008

•       2  – Career Locker Workshop
•       9  – Financial Literacy Workshop
•       23 – One Stop Tour
•       Healthy Marriage Instruction classes were conducted twice a week.

August 2008

•        1 – Brawley One Stop Tour
•        8 – World’s Biggest Baby Shower Event at Imperial County Fair Grounds
•       19 – Third Marital Academy – Montessori at home and Marital Q & A
•       20 – Presentation of a clip from Gary Chapman’s “5 Love Languages”
•       Healthy Marriage Instruction, Communication Skills and Parenting Skills classes were conducted four times per week.

September 2008

•        Healthy Marriage Instruction Classes were being conducted six days a week.
•        Education make-up sessions were conducted throughout the week for the entire month.

Participant progress

•       Up to date we have 110 enrolled participants (55 couples) in to our project.
•       Of the 110 participants, 78% are actively participating in the classes.
•       75% have completed 20 hours of Healthy Marriage Instruction (HMI)
•       100% have completed 8 or more hours of HMI
•       20% have completed 50 hours or more of general education hours which include: Communication Skills, Parenting Skills, Nutrition, Health and Mental Health
